Your jobs are yours.

Plumbo is built to keep your business on your phone. This page says what that means in practice.

What stays on your phone

Jobs, customers, notes, photos, quotes, invoices, payments, signatures, your price book and your business details are stored on your device. There is no server copy of this data unless you turn on Backup.

Voice notes are turned into text by your phone's on-device speech recognition. Plumbo reads your notes on the device too. Audio is not sent to us.

Backup (optional)

If you turn on Backup in Settings, you sign in with Apple and your jobs and price book are copied to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) under your account, so you can restore them on another phone. Only your account can read them. Photos are not backed up. You can delete your account and the backup from Settings at any time.

Crash reports

Plumbo uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive reports when the app crashes. A report holds technical details such as the device model, system version and where in the app the crash happened. It does not include your jobs or customers.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by the App Store. We don't receive your payment details.

What we don't do

No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of your data.

Your customers' information

Details you enter about your customers stay with you, under the same rules as the rest of your data. Plumbo doesn't contact your customers; quotes and invoices go out only when you send them.

Export and deletion

Settings › Export all my data gives you everything as spreadsheets and PDFs. Deleting the app removes the data on your phone; deleting your Backup account removes the copy in the cloud.
